Principal's Message

Dear LPSSA Families and Community,

I am beyond thrilled to become part of the Pleasant Valley School District family and I am incredibly honored to introduce myself as the newest Principal of Los Primeros School of Science and Arts.

I am coming to PVSD with over twenty years of experience in the field of education, seven of which have been in site and district level administration. I have served the City of Santa Clarita as a General Education Teacher, Special Education Teacher, Resource Specialist, Teacher on Special Assignment/RtI Specialist, Assistant Principal, District Administrator on Special Assignment, and most recently, District Administrator of Early Childhood Programs.

In addition to being a dedicated leader in the field of education, I am very passionate about building strong and supportive relationships with families, students, teachers, and staff. You will find that my door is always open to students, families, teachers, and support staff. I want to work collaboratively with you as we keep the best interest of all of our students at the forefront of our decision-making processes. Therefore, I encourage you to connect with me throughout the year so we can talk, collaborate, and work together to create a path for success for all of our students.

I am very excited to participate in and uphold the strong traditions and family-centered culture that LPSSA cherishes. I am looking forward to learning more about the yearly musical performance, the variety of intramural sports teams, and the integration of arts and sciences in the curriculum.

LPSSA’s school motto is: Inspiring young minds through meaningful exploration. Our motto, combined with Pleasant Valley School District’s mission - to prepare 21st century learners who are responsible members of our global society - can be achieved through the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders involved, including our teachers, support staff, students, and families. I am honored to be selected as an educational leader and supportive partner in the educational growth of our students at LPSSA.
